It s easy to be fascinated by thunderstorms and the lightning show they produce sometimes, but when you have to work in the middle of one, it s a whole different situation.
This past Wednesday, KRGV had all hands on deck with crews all over the Valley showing the impact of the storm as it was happening and the aftermath.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) The first ever ToyStock brought together area musicians, the Marines and a plethora of toys, all to help area children enjoy Christmas.
Area bands and musicians performed Saturday at the Joseph A. Bray Marine Corps Detachment. Organized by Musicians Giving Back, the event came close to its $10,0000 goal, with total donations reaching $9,259.
Nine and a half boxes of toys filling four pickup trucks were collected for distribution to area children, in addition to the $9,259 collected for the effort and additional funds collected online through the Toys for Tots website.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTHI) - Toys for Tots is lending a helping hand to families ahead of Christmas. They ve been working hard to make sure children who may not be getting presents under the tree do!
They just wrapped-up day number 1 of distributing toys to those in need. No doubt 2020 has been a trying year for most families.
That s why toys for tots stepped in to help out even more than they normally do, but even the organization ran into some obstacles.
