TERRE HAUTE Ind. (WTHI) - On Saturday, Musicians Giving Back and the American Legion Post 104 made their way back to Terre Haute for the Second Annual Foodstock.
At the event, local musicians turned their favorite tunes into donations in an effort to help dozens of community members.
This year they are hoping to raise more than $3,000 in donations and several hundred pounds of food as well.
All of the money raised will go to the Terre Haute Catholic Charities Food Bank, which will buy food and feed many residents in the community.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) The first ever ToyStock brought together area musicians, the Marines and a plethora of toys, all to help area children enjoy Christmas.
Area bands and musicians performed Saturday at the Joseph A. Bray Marine Corps Detachment. Organized by Musicians Giving Back, the event came close to its $10,0000 goal, with total donations reaching $9,259.
Nine and a half boxes of toys filling four pickup trucks were collected for distribution to area children, in addition to the $9,259 collected for the effort and additional funds collected online through the Toys for Tots website.

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) The Marine Corps League and Musicians Who Give Back hosted a virtual benefit called Toystock.
Four different bands performed for people to watch on livestream Saturday.
The community was invited to drop off toy donations at the event s location.
One musician said he s glad to be able to use his passion as a way to give back to others. This is the second event for Musicians Giving Back this year and both were very successful. So we re looking forward to doing both events again next year, said Bob Flott.
