ALBANY – A stolen red Chevrolet Corvette recovered in Rochester will ultimately put $34,900 into New York state s coffers, assuming the sale closes.
The 2015 Chevrolet Corvette with a Stingray trim, V8 engine and 31,320 miles on the odometer fetched that amount at auction Monday, marking the second time the state Office of General Services had tried to sell the flashy sportscar.
The online auction drew a high bid that was $2,600 more than the first time the state tried to sell the car in June, when the bidder backed out before the sale was finalized.
Now, OGS is hopeful the second sale will close.

Cinco municÃpios brasileiros elegem seus prefeitos neste domingo (13) R7 NotÃcias

Os eleitores de cinco municípios irão às urnas nest domingo (13) para eleger seus prefeitos. Em Sidrolândia (MS), Nova Pata do Iguaçu (PR), Petrolândia (SC), Campestre (MG) e Espera Feliz (MG), os prefeitos eleitos em 2020 tiveram o registro de candidatura indeferido pela Justiça Eleitoral de forma definitiva. Com isso, a legislação determina novas eleições.
De acordo com portaria publicada pelo TSE (Tribunal Superior Eleitoral), para a definição da data das eleições suplementares, o TRE (Tribunal Regional Eleitoral) responsável pelo município levará em conta as condições sanitárias locais. E deverá, se for o caso, providenciar a observância das regras do Plano de Segurança Sanitária aprovado pelo TSE para a prevenção ao contágio pela covid-19.
