Mert Ney has been jailed for 44 years for murdering a young woman and stabbing another woman in the back during a violent frenzy in Sydneyâs CBD in 2019.
Ney, 22, stabbed 24-year-old Michaela Dunn to death in an unprovoked attack at a Sydney CBD apartment on August 13, after he booked a sex work appointment and brought a knife with him.
Mert Ney is led from the NSW Supreme Court in March.

He filmed himself standing over her body after her death, including moving her arm to zoom in on the wounds he had inflicted, and sent the video to a man on Facebook.
