LA PORTE – A La Porte bar owner was arrested last weekend on child pornography and other sex crimes, according to police.
Neon Moon Saloon owner Kenneth Alger was arrested and charged with possession of child porn with the intent to promote, two counts of continuous sexual abuse of a child, and two counts of sexual performance by a child. Prosecutors are asking for a $1.25 million bond.
“He is a danger to the community. He’s a sexual predator,” said Johna Stallings, chief of the Harris County DA’s Office of Adult Sex Crimes and Trafficking Division.

An Humble ISD teacher, who has already been charged with child porn, faces new charges after more students have come forward, court records show.
Tyler Hardy-Croskey, 25, was charged Friday with promotion of child pornography and sexual performance by a child. He was already facing 10 counts of possession of child porn and another count of sexual performance.
Prosecutor Johna Stallings told ABC13 officials at West Lake Middle School, where Hardy-Croskey works, contacted Houston police after his first charges were made public. She has filed motions to revoke and increase his bonds.

Tyler Hardy-Croskey, 25, is an eighth grade U.S History teacher at West Lake Middle School. He was arrested at his apartment in Kingwood Thursday morning. He faces 10 counts of possession of child pornography and one count of sexual performance by a child. According to Harris County court records, the victim in at least one case was one of his students.
