It s an enhanced risk now they are in orange that includes. Okay, see in central Oklahoma, that upgrade is for the wind threat coming in for tonight but there s still a tornado threat. Let s talk about our tornado index scale 1 to 10. It s a four in southwestern Oklahoma into the evening. Some discrete supercells bringing us a tornado risk, their watch for that south of Hobart and latin. But I even have it at a level two for Okay, see because there s a lot of, we ll call shear a lot of spinning in the atmosphere. So even though I may have a squall line or a bow echo coming into Okay, see tonight I think we ll have some rotating segments on that line. That s why we have the upgrade to the enhanced risk area in orange damaging winds 70 to 80 miles an hour

Show Transcript good Wednesday everybody. Meteorologist Jonathan Kander here after very cold. Start a record cold this morning. Highs still below average for this time of year. Highs in the upper fifties today, with light winds on the north at about 5 to 10 miles an hour tonight, the winds will slowly shift to the southeast by daybreak. It s still cold, but just not freezing lows in the thirties and the forties. Then we get into thursday, highs in the fifties, so very similar to what we re gonna see this afternoon because clouds return rain comes in the afternoon, some scattered showers, maybe rumble thunder, not worried about severe weather until we get into friday.
