Dear A&E,
My husband, a consultant in a tech company, is really bad at his job. I had no idea until lockdown, but now, when I overhear him on Zoom calls, I cringe. He’s slow at picking things up and I can tell his co-workers don’t warm to him. I’m embarrassed by this. I know it has no bearing on our relationship but I’ve found myself being argumentative, possibly as a result. I’m the slightly higher earner but our careers always seemed equally weighted, until now. I wish I didn’t know any of this but how can I make it not affect our relationship – and do I say anything? Perturbed

My husband has always had a crush on a certain buxom, blonde TV presenter. It escalated when he was furloughed last year and started watching her late-morning show. At first I joked it was a crush, but then he’d drop her name into conversations as if he knew her. Once, he bought me a dress from her clothing line. When I accused him of trying to turn me into her, he called me ridiculous. To top it off, his friend gave him a calendar of her for Christmas. Am I right to feel offended? Is it normal for grown men to have bizarre crushes? I find it creepy. Offended

Murphy said: “I think we can all agree that our industry has been lagging behind for the past 10 years, so the fact we’ve seen such a big step forward is great.
He went on to explain that adopting technology to make the customer journey much better and make brokers more efficient is important going forward.
