The six-foot, 233-pound Stanback was third in the CFL with 1,048 rushing yards in 2019 and led the league with an average of 6.2 yards per carry.

All 10 of the coaches are returning from this year. Jason Shivers in back for a third year as Defensive Coordinator. He extended his contract through 2022. Jason Maas stays on Offensive Coordinator after joining the team for 2020. His deal now runs though 2022 as well. (Britton Gray/980 CJME file photo) The Saskatchewan Roughriders have locked up general manager Jeremy O’Day and head coach Craig Dickenson for the next three seasons. The CFL team announced it has signed both to two-year contract extensions, taking them through the 2023 season. O’Day took over as general manager in January 2019 after then-general manager/head coach Chris Jones left for an opportunity with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns. One of O’Day’s first actions as general manager was to hire Dickenson as Jones’ successor on the bench.

O’Day originally joined the club’s front office in 2011 after playing 12 seasons on the Riders’ offensive line and will be entering his 23 rd consecutive season with the Green and White. “Jeremy has showed tremendous dedication to the Saskatchewan Roughriders and his leadership, especially through the challenges of 2020, has been outstanding,” said Reynolds. “Beyond that, he led the 2019 team to the best record we’ve had since 1970 and continues to build the Roughriders for long-term success. I am thrilled that he has committed to being with us through the 2023 season.”
