The Saskatchewan Roughriders have their football operations department set now all they need are players.
The Roughriders announced Monday that the contracts of vice president of football operations Jeremy O Day and head coach Craig Dickenson have been extended through the 2023 CFL season.
Dickenson has also retained his entire coaching staff with the exception of one running backs coach Tim Prinsen.
REGINA The Riders will be spending less than the salary cap on player contracts in 2020. General Manager Jeremy O’Day revealed that he’s been given instructions from Saskatchewan Roughriders President CEO and President Craig Reynolds to reduce spending on play salaries. “My directive from our president Craig is that we’ll be spending less than we did in 2020,” said O’Day on Monday. “I don’t think it’s a terrible ask from our organization, with what the impact the pandemic has had on our organization. Let’s face it, it’s not just the players that are being impacted, the coaches and the staff have all been impacted as well.”
Riders announce 2021 coaching staff By Derek Taylor
Craig Dickenson will have one fewer coach on his staff in 2021.
The team announced its 2021 coaching staff Monday. All 10 of the coaches are returning from this year.
Jason Shivers in back for a third year as Defensive Coordinator. He extended his contract through 2022.
Jason Maas stays on Offensive Coordinator after joining the team for 2020. His deal now runs though 2022 as well.
The rest of the coaching staff have contracts through 2021:

Special Teams: Kent Maugeri

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have locked up general manager Jeremy O’Day and head coach Craig Dickenson for the next three seasons.
The CFL team announced it has signed both to two-year contract extensions, taking them through the 2023 season.
O’Day took over as general manager in January 2019 after then-general manager/head coach Chris Jones left for an opportunity with the NFL’s Cleveland Browns. One of O’Day’s first actions as general manager was to hire Dickenson as Jones’ successor on the bench.
