Theresa Mazzone - Cumberland
Surrounded by her loving children and grandchildren, Theresa Mazzone, 86, was taken home to the Lord on Monday, May 10. She has been reunited with her parents, her adoring husband and all her other family members that have gone before her.
Theresa, the daughter of the late Felisberto and Firminia Rocha, was the wife of the late Remo Mazzone. They were together for 46 years until his death in 2003. She was born in Taunton, Mass., and spent most of her life in Rhode Island. She moved to Providence when she was a young teenager, attending high school at the old St. Patrick’s School. She met the love of her life on St. Patrick’s Day in 1956 and was married three years later in a joyous ceremony at St. Patrick’s Church in Cumberland, a town where they would start a family and where Theresa would reside until the time of her death.
A Memorial Mass for Tom Williams, age 62 of Pleasantville will be held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Saint Elizabeth Seton Parish, in Carlisle at 10:00 a.m. A Rosary Service will be held at Mason Funeral Home on Friday, April 30th at 4:00 p.m. and the family will receive friends from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that a tree be planted in Tom’s memory or that you spend time making a child’s life better. Ella Kay (Barclay) Friedel, age 82, of Kenton, OH went home peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Vancrest of Ada.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Ella Kay Friedel will begin at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at the Immaculate Conception Church in Kenton with Father Ed Shikina officiating where a Rosary Service will begin at 10:30 am prior to the service. Internment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Kenton, Ohio.
Friends will be received at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday, January 5, 2021 from 9:00 – 10:00 am prior to the service.
