Westport Playhouse Presents Virtual Story Hour with Jenny Written by Pat Blaufuss
Westport, CT - Westport Country Playhouse will launch “Story Hour with Jenny”, a live, virtual series to engage children, grades K-3, in an interactive reading of social justice picture books, beginning Sunday, March 14. The series will continue on Sundays, April 11, May 16, and June 6, with two live readings each day, morning session at 10 a.m.; evening session at 6:30 p.m. Jenny Nelson, who is the Roz and Bud Siegel director of education and community engagement at the Playhouse, will lead the one-hour sessions via Zoom.

`PHENOMENAL women who have made an impact on society during the pandemic and beyond will be the focus of this year s International Women s Day in Northern Ireland.
Covid-19 restrictions will see all activity take place online, with Reclaim the Agenda hosting a programme of free events from March 1-14.
Co-chair Danielle Roberts said this is an opportunity to enshrine equality in post-pandemic Northern Ireland after the efforts of women from healthcare and other essential workers, to those home-schooling, caring and volunteering, and all the activists driving change .

Westport Country Playhouse announces recently selected members of The Playhouse Youth Council, a new advocacy group to support the artistic and community-building mission of the historic theater which celebrates its 90th anniversary this year. The Playhouse Youth Council is comprised of high school students from across New Haven and Fairfield County.

Twelve members from Central s Key Club attended the 68th Annual New England and Bermuda District of Key Clubs Educational Conference (Decon) over the weekend. Through hard work, dedication, and the heart to serve our school and community, Central s Key Club brought home 8 awards.
Andy Vo won first place for the Video Contest and first place for the Essay Contest, which depicted the three components of Key Club.
Natalie Rivera was awarded 3rd place for the Scrapbook Contest.
Grace Lachance accepted the 3rd place award on behalf of the club for the Annual Achievement report, which outlines all projects that our club had participated in throughout the year.
