The owner of a North Korean fishing fleet was publicly executed for listening to a banned US-funded radio station while at sea.
The captain, only identified by his last name Choi, was gunned down by a firing squad in mid-October for listening to Radio Free Asia over a “long period of time,” according to a law enforcement source in North Korea.
The source added that authorities were tipped off about the prohibited actions by a crewman at Choi’s base in the port city of Chongjin. Choi was publicly shot at the base in front of 100 other captains and managers of the facility’s fish processing plant.
The streaming service has officially renewed the drama series for a third season, which will consist of 10 episodes, it announced Friday.
Filming is currently underway. No premiere date has been set.
There will be several new faces coming to Virgin River in season 3: series regular Zibby Allen, who will play Jack s sister Brie, a lawyer who is smart, hard-charging, ballsy and a whole lot of fun, and Stacey Farber, who will play Tara Anderson, Lilly s daughter, who will be introduced in season 3 as she is helping with baby Chloe while her three other siblings are living away from home.
Series stars Alexandra Breckinridge and Martin Henderson will return for the new season, which will also welcome back Tim Matheson, Annette O Toole, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Grayson Gurnsey, Lauren Hammersley, Sarah Dugdale, Jenny Cooper, Daniel Gillies, Chase Petriw and Marco Grazzini.

The Director-General of the Africa Rice Center (AfricaRice), Harold Roy-Macauley has completed a visit at the European Union-funded integrated rice and fish farming project under the Development of Smart Innovation through Research in Agriculture (DeSIRA) at the Central Agriculture Research Institute (CARI) in Suakoko, Bong County.
