Netflix confirmed that season 3 is officially happening, but before we get there, here's everything you need to know about the show thus far.
The show is based on the Virgin River book series by Robyn Carr. The 21st book in the series was released on October 13.

Virgin River became an instant sensation this year, with its dramatic tales of Mel, a city-loving doctor who moves to a remote California town to escape the tragic events of her tough past. Along the way, Mel meets the people of Virgin River, a fictional town that has its fair share of very real problems. (Most notably, she finds herself in a complicated romantic situation with Jack, the local bar owner and part-time fly fisherman/handyman.)
