It was revealed in the season four episode of
The Office titled “Goodbye, Toby,” that Jan was pregnant and that Michael Scott was not the father (even though he assumed he was at first). Jan said in the episode that she went to a sperm bank. The baby eventually was born and we learn in season five that Jan named her Astird. The show never revealed who the baby’s father actually was though, but now we know.
