Goat Rescue and Rehoming founder Jen Hyde offers a nationwide rescue operation, including in Northland. Hyde, who lives in the Waikato, recently found a new home for a Whangārei goat, Bella, which had been left behind by its owners after they had shifted house. The person who was fostering the goat was not set up to offer a permanent home so Hyde s network helped find a new home in the Whangārei area so it will no longer be tethered.

The ‘Noles are on the road this weekend as they face #8 Duke and #1 UNC. While these matchups will be a challenge, head coach Jen Hyde and redshirt-sophomore Petra Hule feel really positive about the team’s overall chances.
The tennis team has been preparing for matches like this all season, but especially this week.
“We’ve had really intense practices this week, very intentional and specific. We make sure these women are focused with a good mindset going into the weekend”, said coach Hyde. She mentioned how Wednesday was one of the best practices they’ve had so far, using that intensity to better their game.
Tallahassee, FL – The ninth-ranked FSU women’s tennis team opened its dual match season Tuesday night with an impressive 6-1 win over in-state foe USF. The Seminoles (1-0) clinched the win early by taking four singles points in straight sets. FSU’s only loss came in a third-set tiebreaker.
“It was awesome to get out there and compete again, this time as a team and for the first time since March of last year,” said FSU Head Coach Jen Hyde. “It was tons of fun to get a couple of our doubles teams back together against a really good USF team. It was their first match as well and it was good to see our girls get their teeth into their matches and stay there and do what they needed to do. It is just awesome to compete and see different jerseys on the other side of the net.”

“A huge effort by Jules playing against a sneaky player from Georgia today,” said FSU Head Coach Jen Hyde. She knew what to do about sticking to her game and hanging out. She did a great job. Today she played ‘big girl’ tennis, at such a high level. It’s great to see her so early. It’s like she didn’t miss a beat at all at this point and the focus was really good. She stepped up and played the big points really big and trusted herself completel
