The process to re-open the province amid the COVID-19 pandemic has begun.
At the beginning of May, the Government of Alberta allowed access to parks and public lands, allowing vehicle access to parking lots, staging areas and boat launches. Golf courses were able to open last Saturday if they keep clubhouses and pro shops closed, and most campgrounds will reopen by June. The County of Wetaskiwin delayed the opening of its campgrounds until May 31.
