Shops sealed in Lahore over SOPs breach

LAHORE: The district administration continued implementation of corona SOPs in the provincial metropolis and sealed many shops besides imposing fine on many people on Tuesday.
Officials said the DC had directed all the assistant commissioners to visit commercial areas and take strict action against the violators of corona SOPs. City AC Faizan Ahmed visited Anarkali Bazaar along with officials of Pakistan Army, Rangers and police and checked the implementation of corona SOPs. Warning was issued to 20 shopkeepers while 10 people were arrested in the bazaar. A shop was also sealed. The officials also distributed masks among the citizens and asked them to come out of their homes wearing masks.
3,464 FIRs registered over SOPs breach

LAHORE:Lahore Police under ‘The Punjab Infectious Diseases (Prevention and Control) Act 2020’ has registered as many as 3464 FIRs during the last one month against violators of different corona SOPs including not wearing face masks.
Police lodged 1414 FIRs on violation of corona SOPs including maintenance of social distance and not following timings of commercial activities whereas 2050 FIRs were registered against persons for not following the government directions to wear safety masks. CCPO Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar said joint teams of Police, district administration, Pak Army and Rangers have been monitoring the implementation of corona SOPs on the directions of government.
Ichhra market, other shops sealed over corona SOPs violations

LAHORE : The district administration sealed the entire Ichhra market and many other businesses while implementing corona SOPs here on Saturday.
The action was taken by Model Town Assistant Commissioner Ibrahim Arbab who received information that despite orders Ichhra bazaar was open and people were shopping there. Following the information, the assistant commissioner reached there and directed police to close the entire bazaar due to massive rush of people who were busy in shopping without following corona SOPs.
Meanwhile, City Assistant Commissioner Faisan Ahmed sealed five shops and one restaurant.

Dozens of businesses sealed, 15 held over corona SOPs’ violation in Lahore

LAHORE: The district administration Lahore Tuesday sealed dozens of shops, stores, hotels and other businesses for not implementing corona SOPs.
Cantt Assistant Commissioner Zeeshan Nasrullah Ranjha sealed two marble factories, four shops on Ghazi Road and Power House Gym at Y Block DHA. The Cantt AC also sealed Iqra School Bedian Road for opening and holding classes.
City AC Faisan Ahmed sealed two hotels and four shops and arrested 15 people for violating corona SOPs. The City AC also sealed three branches of banks, Oppo Mobile, Hamza Traders, Madina Computer while 11 persons were arrested on Hall Road for violating corona SOPs and were detained in Qila Gujjar Singh police station.
