Sydney [Australia], May 16 (ANI): Jim Laker, who was Australia bowling coach at the time of Sandpaper Gate, on Sunday, said that the entire scandal can be reinvestigated but he is not too sure what s going to come out if it is indeed looked into again.
His remarks came as Cricket Australia (CA) on Saturday said it is open to reinvestigating the Sandpaper Gate if there is anyone who has more knowledge about the matter.
This announcement from the board came after opening batsman Cameron Bancroft hinted that there had to be wider knowledge about ball-tampering during the Sandpaper Gate incident in 2018 in the Cape Town Test between Australia and South Africa than just the trio of Steve Smith, David Warner and the opener himself.

Dedicated volunteers from Burnham-On-Sea and Highbridge are among some of Somerset’s many unsung Coronavirus heroes who have been named as winners of the first ever Somerset Medal.
The Somerset Medal has been launched by Somerset County Council to say a heartfelt thank-you to the ‘best of the best’, with the winners announced on Somerset Day.
They include vaccination volunteers, food deliverers, PPE producers, pop-up shop keepers and a whole host of other good Samaritans who all went above and beyond to make sure Somerset kept going during the pandemic.

Regarded as the world’s greatest ever all-rounder, Sir Garfield, a former Barbados and West Indies captain, played 93 Test matches. A left-hander, he scored 8032 runs including 26 centuries and 30 half-centuries at an average of 57.78, and took 235 wickets at 34.03 runs apiece, bowling either left-arm fast-medium, or two styles of spin – orthodox and wrist. He also held 109 catches.

The BCCI was heavily criticized by Twitter users for referring former India coach and legendary cricketer Anil Kumble as ‘former bowler’ while wishing him on his birthday. The board was forced to delete the tweet as irate fans and former journalists ripped it apart for its indifferent attitude against the champion spinner.
