Nancy Sennett leads 1st drive Saturday, July 17, 2021 4:00 AM Nancy Sennett • • The first fund drive of the new Montgomery County United Way is off to a great start. At a kick-off breakfast Friday morning United Way in Montgomery County Area Director Gina Haile introduced this year’s campaign chair, Nancy Sennett.
“Nancy has such a respected voice,” Haile told The Paper. “Her partnership and commitment to work with me and this organization to ensure that the legacy of MUFFY is acknowledged and built on means so much as we create another 50 years going forward.”
Sennett, who retired from Franciscan Health as the Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer after 32 years with the hospital, said she accepted this role for one reason.

The Montgomery County United Fund Board of Directors recently announced the 2020 campaign total as $251,424.58.
Despite the difficulties of this past year, contributors, both corporate and individual, continued to support MCUF efforts and those of its partner agencies.
“We celebrate and thank you for your generosity,” said Gina Haile, MCUF area director.
In addition to the campaign total, the board announced the total community investment as $269,523.42. This investment will be distributed among
15 partner agencies.
Those agencies include: Boys & Girls Club of Montgomery County, Camp Rotary, Community Chest, Crawfordsville Adult Resource Academy, Family Crisis Shelter, Fuzzy Bear Preschool, Hand in Hand Learning Center, New Beginnings Child Care, Pam’s Promise, Recovery Coalition, Sunshine Vans, Trinity Life Ministry, Volunteers for Mental Health, Willson Family Literacy Preschool and the Youth Service Bureau.
