BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - Will Wade and company have continued to make huge additions this off-season this time on the recruiting trail with the addition of five-star center Efton Reid from IMG Academy for the class of 2021.Reid made the announcement on his Twitter on Sunday, May 9.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The LSU Tigers have lost their third player from last season to the transfer portal in center Josh Gray according to AL.com writer Matt Zenitz.

Gray was part of the 2020 signing class that already has lost point guard Jalen Cook who entered the transfer portal and ended up at Tulane University and freshman Cam Thomas who declared for the 2021 NBA Draft.

BATON ROUGE, La. (WAFB) - The 2019 Mr. Louisiana Basketball Jalen Cook, a graduate of Walker High School announced via Twitter that he would be transferring to Tulane.
âFirst and foremost, I want to thank God for blessing me and giving me the opportunity to play the game I love most. I know that through him all things are possible,â Cook said in his Twitter post. âI want to give a huge thanks to my family, my friends and fans for pushing me and standing by me every way throughout my basketball career.â

LSU Lands Cincinnati Transfer Tari Eason

Former Cincinnati forward Tari Eason announced on his Twitter Tuesday that he would be transferring to LSU.
Eason will be eligible to play next season due to the NCAA passing a rule that allows one-time immediate eligibility for all athletes.
Eason was named to the AAC’s all-freshman team last season after averaging seven points and five rebounds in 23 games. Where Eason is best is on the defensive end, ranking fourth in the American Athletic Conference in blocked shots with 1.4 a game. Eason also averaged 1.3 steals last season.
Eason is a Seattle native and was ranked by 247 as the No. 138 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Coming out of high school he had offers from Pac 12 schools like Washington State, USC, and Colorado before ultimately choosing Cincinnati.
