LSU Lands Cincinnati Transfer Tari Eason

Former Cincinnati forward Tari Eason announced on his Twitter Tuesday that he would be transferring to LSU.
Eason will be eligible to play next season due to the NCAA passing a rule that allows one-time immediate eligibility for all athletes.
Eason was named to the AAC’s all-freshman team last season after averaging seven points and five rebounds in 23 games. Where Eason is best is on the defensive end, ranking fourth in the American Athletic Conference in blocked shots with 1.4 a game. Eason also averaged 1.3 steals last season.
Eason is a Seattle native and was ranked by 247 as the No. 138 overall prospect in the 2020 recruiting cycle. Coming out of high school he had offers from Pac 12 schools like Washington State, USC, and Colorado before ultimately choosing Cincinnati.
