Pero (But) we have a team dedicated to that as well,” he added.  Belgica said they are in consultation with Agriculture Secretary William Dar, key offices, and other stakeholders.

The MECQ status will remain until April 30.

PAGASA: Tropical cyclone outside PAR now a severe tropical storm

(Jansen Romero / FILE PHOTO / MANILA BULLETIN) The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the center of the severe tropical storm was estimated at 1,095 kilometers East of Mindanao as of 10 a.m. The weather disturbance intensified at 8 a.m. packing a maximum sustained winds of 95 kilometers per hour (kph) near the center and gustiness of 115 kph while moving west at 10 kph over waters outside PAR. “Surigae is forecast to gradually accelerate while moving west-northwestward until Sunday, April 18, then will turn northward by Monday, April 19,” PAGASA said in its 11 a.m. tropical cyclone advisory. The weather disturbance is expected to enter PAR between Thursday night and Friday morning, April 16. It will then be given a local name “Bising.”

The cardinal also lamented how some people are more focused on the gifts or the “party” after baptism. Tagle stressed:”The depth of faith is not measured by the size of celebration.”
