The vice president also highlighted the importance of being each other’s anchor  “during these extraordinary times of darkness.” “Alam kong pagod na tayo. Every day, we see and read in the news the things that scare us, make us sad, and enraged us. But this Easter, let’s us be hopeful. We are going to surpass all of these),” she said at the mass presided by Rev. Fr. Tito Caluag.

I hope our basis for the appointment is competency, not only politics),” she said.

Mahalaga kung papaano ipapakita na ipaglalaban niya tayo (So, it’s important how the leadership will take action. It’s important how they will show that they are going to fight for us),” Robredo added.  Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana’s recent statements on the Chinese fishing vessels moored in the contested Julian Felipe Reef (Whitsun Reef), which is part of the Philippines’ Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ), brings her comfort, she said.
