KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) â An investigation into drink tampering at a Kalamazoo bar has been closed and no charges will be filed.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety has confirmed they found no evidence into allegations made by several women, who claimed they were served drugged drinks at the Y Bar & Bistro near the Western Michigan University campus. The nearly two-month investigation wrapped up on Wednesday.
It began after posts on social media by a woman who said she and her friends couldnât remember anything from that night after they were served drinks. Several others came forward with similar claims following that post. Co-owner of the bar Jon Rockwood denied the allegations all along.
