KALAMAZOO, MI (WKZO AM/FM) - For the first time, one of the owners of Y Bar & Bistro has made a public statement regarding allegation of drink tam.
Y-Bar Co-Owner Jon Rockwood released a public statement on Youtube denying allegations of drink tampering within the establishment Wednesday, May 5
âOur good name in this community is extremely important to us, Rockwood said. That is why my partner and I are outraged by recent allegations made on social media about our business practices. So let me say in the strongest possible terms that these allegations are completely false.â
Rockwood said him and his partner are cooperating with authorities in the investigation and ask for fair judgement of their case.Â
âSadly weâre living in a time when false, damaging information, like this, can be trumped as true,  Rockwood said. Social media and the cancel culture threatens the livelihood of a very small business owner like me.
