Whether it s a hedge-fund billionaire, tech giant, industrial titan, or someone simply born into the right family, the wealthiest people in every state each have their own stories. In today s political climate, the super-rich have plenty of influence over our political process, from lobbying members of the government and contributing to presidential bids to running ad campaigns in favor of specific causes.
To figure out who s on top of each state s rich list, Forbes tracks groups of billionaires (or centimillionaires in states with no billionaires) and updates their findings annually. Stacker analyzed this data to compile a list of the uber-wealthy and then broke down how each person earned their fortune. ANTIGO – After failing to obtain the necessary number of valid signatures to be placed on the ballot for the spring 2021 election,
Aaron Loudenslager today formally ended his candidacy for a judgeship on the Wisconsin Court of Appeals District 3.
“At the end of the day, our grassroots campaign was not able to collect enough signatures to be placed on the ballot for the spring 2021 election,” said Loudenslager. “As a result, I formally terminated my campaign committee today.”
Candidates for the Wisconsin Court of Appeals were required to submit 1,000 valid signatures to the Wisconsin Elections Commission by January 5, 2021, to be placed on the spring 2021 ballot.

John Menard, the billionaire owner of the Menard’s home improvement chain.
It was was called a “doctorate of humane letters,” but there are some who would not necessarily think of Menard as a humanitarian. A successful businessman, yes: Menard’s is one of the biggest home improvement chains in the nation, with 325 stores and 41 manufacturing facilities located in 14 Midwestern states, and an advertising jingle, “Save big money at Menard’s,” we all probably know by heart.
