Election workers from the spring election in the Town of Osceola will be asked to give a written report to the Town Board about the election and why numerous write-in ballot votes were not initially reported.Â
The board made the decision to ask for more information from election workers following a discussion of the recount May 4.Â
Then Town Chair Brandon Whittaker read a prepared statement about the election and the recount. âI would like to make a brief statement about the spring election. As many of you are aware, there were some errors in the initial vote tally for last monthâs election. These issues related primarily to counting of write-in ballots. I want to thank those individuals that brought the issue to the attention of town officials.Â
APPLETON – Gov. Tony Evers is seeking applicants for Outagamie County Circuit Court Branch IV.
The appointment will fill a vacancy left by Judge Gregory B. Gill Jr.’s election to the Court of Appeals District III, according to the governor’s office.
Officials said the new judge’s appointment will start Aug. 1 and go until July 31, 2022.
Applications and supporting materials should be sent to govjudicialappointments@wisconsin.gov. Applications must be submitted by 5 p.m. May 21.
