Money being donated to Second Harvest helps not only people in need but the programs that help those people. “This is my passion feeding people, making sure everybody I feel like nobody should be hungry,” Pauline Jackson said.Jackson has been working at that for more than 19 years out of a small home converted into a community church in Winter Garden.Her Jesus Loves You Outreach Ministries helps families from all across Central Florida. Since COVID-19, the weekly need at Jackson s site has increased from 50 to 300 families. “Most of the people have lost their jobs or the hours have been cut. They re down to one income or they have no income at all. Families are moving in together because of loss of work,” Jackson said.
