Local movie theater reopening this weekend after yearlong closure

AMMON – The long-awaited return of a local movie theater is finally here.
Edwards Grand Teton Cinemas in Ammon is opening Friday after being closed for more than a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
General Manager Kyle Roberts tells EastIdahoNews.com they’ll be opening with the release of two new movies “Wrath of Man,” an action thriller starring Jason Statham, and “Here Today,” a drama starring Billy Crystal and Tiffany Haddish.
“We’re excited to open back up, and we invite people to come out for a night at the movies,” Roberts says.

SWAN VALLEY – The owner of a new mixed-use development in Swan Valley hopes it will bring new visitors to the area.
The Centre at Rainey Creek is a 23-acre commercial and residential project off U.S. Highway 26 that got underway this summer. It includes 12 1,800-square-foot duplex townhomes on the east side of Rainey Creek and six bay homes on the west side with five units a piece.

Morgan Construction, ESI announce merger
Morgan Construction Inc., an Idaho Falls-based commercial general contractor founded in 1989, has announced it has merged with Boise-based ESI Construction, Idaho’s largest privately held general contractor. The transaction closed earlier this month. Morgan Construction will become Morgan Construction, LLC a Division of ESI.
