Ja Quan Sutton, 22, of Kinston was charged with obstruction of justice charges related to multiple calls of shots fired in Kinston Thursday afternoon.
Officers arrived in the area of Charlotte Ave and Dixon street and located several shell casings in the roadway but no injuries or property damage was reported, according to a news release.
