The Tampa Bay Buccaneers began the first of their two rounds of OTA practices this week and about half of the current 90-man roster was in attendance for the voluntary sessions. As expected, nearly all of those taking part were very young players and those potentially fighting for spots on the back end of the eventual 53-man roster.
With the usual barring injuries caveat, the defending-champion Buccaneers may have the most set depth chart in the league heading into next season, at least in terms of starters and key contributors. That s what happens when you win it all and then re-sign pretty much every player who could have left in free agency.

TAMPA, Fla. Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady opted not to take part in the team s OTA practice Tuesday, instead opting to practice Monday with his veteran teammates at the New York Yankees spring training complex across the street.
Arians told veteran players and starters that Tuesday s optional practice would be for the younger players to get reps. Rookie second-rounder Kyle Trask and last year s third-string backup Ryan Griffin got the snaps at quarterback.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. Pauline Striemer, age 93, passed away Friday, May 7, 2021, in Fairmont, Minn., after a very wonderful life. Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, May 13, 2021, at First Baptist Church, 1401 S. Covell Ave. in Sioux Falls. The family will be present to visit with friends beginning noon Thursday at the church.
Interment will be held 1 p.m. Friday, May 14, 2021, at Lakeside Cemetery, Fairmont, Minn.
Pauline was born Feb. 1, 1928, in Fairmont, Minn., to Arthur and Clara Striemer. She attended Amber Lake Country School through the eighth grade. She graduated from Fairmont High School, and attended the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, where she earned a degree in library science. After college, Pauline worked a short time at the Martin County Library in Fairmont. Pauline then accepted a position with the Sioux Falls Library system. She drove the Sioux Falls Library Bookmobile for many, many years. She enjoyed sharing the love of books and re
