Police seize drugs in Oshawa

Durham police have arrested two suspects in connection to a disturbance call in Oshawa.
Police responded to a residence on Celina Street in Oshawa on Tuesday, May 4 around 7:10 a.m. for reports of a disturbance. Officers spoke to the involved female suspect who was arrested at the scene on an outstanding warrant from a December 2020 investigation.
The male suspect fled the scene on foot.
Police seized a quantity of cash, knives, bear spray, and drugs, including cocaine, crystal meth, heroine and fentanyl. The total street value of the drugs and cash seized was approximately $18,000.

Two people have been arrested after Durham police found $18,000 worth of drugs and cash when they were called for a disturbance in Oshawa last Tuesday.
On May 4, police responded to a home on Celina Street around 7:10 a.m.
Officers spoke to a woman on scene and she was arrested on an outstanding warrant from December 2020. A male suspect fled the scene on foot but was found and arrested the next day. Both suspects are from Oshawa.

Renee Michel, 32, of Oshawa, is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking x4; possess weapons dangerous; carry concealed weapon unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon and possess prohibited weapon knowing possession prohibited.
Loaded gun seized during arrest

A loaded gun was seized during a drug investigation in Oshawa.
On Thursday, Feb. 4, around 1:30 p.m., a suspect punched an officer in the face before fleeing on foot during an attempt by police to arrest a suspect on Simcoe Street South as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
The suspect was eventually arrested on Celina Street after a brief foot pursuit and police seized a loaded gun and a quantity of cash during the arrest.
A 34-year-old man is facing 10 charges, including assaulting police, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a prohibited firearm with ammunition, obstructing police, and dangerous weapons. He was held for a bail hearing.
