Animal Shelter Makes Changes Due to COVID-19 Like numerous other businesses and services that have had to make changes because of COVID-19 and safety measures, San Angelo’s Animal Shelter is also making temporarily changes to their operation of services due to COVID-19. Due to quarantining protocols and procedures with the Animal Shelter, operations at the shelter will temporarily change beginning today (Monday, Jan. 11). The temporary changes set in place as of today, are as follows: The shelter will no longer be taking in cats during this time (except sick, injured, neonatal) They are only accepting dogs between the hours of 1 p.m. and 6 p.m.
