AUSTIN, Texas â Three people have died in a shooting in Austin, Texas. The person police believe is responsible is not in custody at this time.
Just before 12 p.m. local time, a 911 call was made about the incident. As officers arrived on scene, a reverse 911 call went out to area residents warning about an active shooting situation.

Three people were killed in a shooting at an apartment complex in Austin, Texas, on Sunday, authorities said.
The Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services said police and paramedics responded to an active shooter situation around 11:42 a.m. Three adults were declared dead at the scene, officials said.
Around 2 p.m. the Austin Police Department (APD) said what they initially believed to be a possible active shooter situation now appears to have been an isolated domestic event, according to KXAN. The police department said there is currently no threat to the public, however the manhunt for the shooter is still ongoing.

Officials in Austin, Texas, report three people died in an active shooter situation on the city’s northwest side on Sunday afternoon. The suspect is at large and police are engaged in a manhunt.
Austin-Travis County EMS officials tweeted that three people died in a shooting incident in the city’s Arboretum area. The EMS dispatchers sent 15 assets to the scene.
