Facebook s Dark Mode became a convenient option for its users to enjoy said social networking site as it can reduce the light emitted from the device screen as well as maintaining the minimum color contrast ratios for it to be readable. New Delhi: Twitter has joined companies like Facebook in asking users to protect its targeted ad dollars in a new iOS 14.5 prompt, as the new Apple App Tracking Transparency forces developers to ask permission from users if they want to enable ad tracking.
Unlike an aggressive Facebook and Instagram, Twitter has politely asked users to enable tracking on iOS.
According to MacRumor, after updating to version 8.65 which adds support for audio chat app Spaces, Twitter users will see a pop-up notification that asks them to “keep ads relevant”.
With its latest update, Twitter on iOS is now asking users to enable Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) rules in order to receive “relevant ads,”.

Last month, Apple released the much-awaited App Tracking Transparency feature with the iOS 14.5/iPadOS 14.5 to all eligible iPhones and iPads.
The new critical security feature gives more power to device owners to put a stop on apps from tracking and storing user information.
It was welcomed by all users and tech critics around the world. As per the study, close to 90% of the global Apple device users have disabled the App Tracking.
Apple s move has enraged top app makers especially Facebook, which owns Messenger, Instagram, and WhatsApp, which have registered billions of installations on phones around the world. They generate revenue by offering targeted ads based on user s search habits and also location details.
