The snatcher was identified as Sunny, 19, of Sector 28. He was arrested and sent to judicial custody. Sunny has been held in a snatching case earlier too.
A 38-year-old man, who allegedly killed his wife in a fit of rage three days ago and hugged her lifeless body for hours, was arrested from his home in South Tripura district.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Belonia Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Soumya Debbarma said the man, identified as Soumitra Reang, made country liquor to earn a living.

Agartala: A habitual drinker has been arrested for allegedly murdering his 30-year-old wife their residence in Killamura village within the limits of Belonia police station in North Sonaicherri, Tripura on Saturday.
How it happened
The accused has been identified as Soumitra Reang, while his now-deceased wife was identified as Sandhyaran Murasingh. Reang has been depressed since last few years. On Saturday night, a heated argument broke out between the couple over some issue. During the course of the argument, Reang, who was in an inebriated condition, assaulted Murasingh. Later, in a fit of rage, he picked up a sharp weapon and beheaded Murasingh.
