The Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) President, Mr. Subhash Goyal, expressed his happiness with the rail budget saying, “No increase in passenger fares, and tickets can be booked 120 days in advance instead of 60 days, to tackle [the] tout menace is a landmark decision.” Mr. Subhash Goyal said, “This was our long pending demand with the previous government, and we are happy that the present government has implemented this and our members would be able to book train tickets for their foreign clients well in advance and show them the rich cultural heritage of India through rail journeys.”
