West Midlands CA chief executive
Deborah Cadman has taken the same role at Birmingham City Council on an interim basis. Ms Cadman will serve for the period up to the 2022 Commonwealth Games and local elections, after which the recruitment of a permanent chief will begin.
In February the previous interim,

Ms Cadman, who described herself as “a Brummie born and bred”, said the opportunity to become chief executive was “one I just couldn’t turn down”.
