REDDING, Calif. - At Tuesday’s Redding City Council meeting, the city council approved an ordinance that would charge people a $326 fee if they’re treated or assessed by the Redding Fire Department.
A city staff report states the fee would generate nearly $400,000 to the city, which would go back to the general fund.
Bradley Giorgie lives in an apartment where he sees a lot of emergency medical response calls. He tells Action News Now he agrees with the fees.
