Im ryan yamamoto. 33 new speed cameras will go up next year at some of the citys most high risk areas. Sf mta announced they plan to install these new speed cameras. Here is a map at some of the locations. They include areas in north beach, vanness and soma. Officials say the karma will help curb speeding, traffic crashes, injuries and deaths. Drivers will get a ticket but it is unclear how much the pines will cost. The camera is part of a statewide safety pilot program. Oakland and san jose will install speed cameras. A new
