Swindon performing arts school offers free places to poorer children

THE team at Revolution Performing Arts in Swindon has joined a national initiative backed by England footballer Marcus Rashford. The Holiday Activities and Food project is supported by government funding and encourages organisations across the UK to offer free places to children on low income who would not be able to attend summer camps and sessions if their families had to pay. Often these families have no spare income and cannot send their children to summer schools - sometimes they cannot even afford to feed them. Eligible organisations which offer places must commit to provide each child with a delicious meal every day and the places are for any child who receives free school meals.

She was just four years old when she joined a ballet class and six when she found her niche in Irish dancing. Coming from a large Irish family, she went to classes with her cousin and went on to become a south west champion. When she won a performing arts scholarship in Wiltshire, she learned different styles of dance, contemporary, hip hop, jazz and tap as well as having drama and singing lessons.
