HUDSON VALLEY, NY The next group of 2021 National Merit scholarship winners include 14 high school students from the Hudson Valley.
These winners of National Merit college-sponsored scholarships are among the more than 3,100 announced nationally this year to receive between $500 and $2,000 scholarships from colleges and universities across the country, the National Merit Scholarship Corp. said in a news release Wednesday.

Cole Willman is no stranger to speed.
When not competing with the Tuskers track team, he enjoys skating and skiing, among other outdoor activities. Cole moved to town from Wisconsin eight years ago, and although Somers will always have a place in his heart, he is also excited to attend the University of Wisconsin in the fall.
