WINDSOR LOCKS — Local police said Sunday a married couple from Suffield died in a murder-suicide on Christmas Day that had police working through the weekend to investigate. John Liquori, 59, and Cindy Liquori, 55, both of 900 Suffield St., were found dead inside the Windsor Locks residence at 33 Dale St. around 6 p.m. Friday after police received a 911 call reporting the incident. Online voter registration and Windsor Locks property records indicate the ranch-style, two-bedroom home is owned by Cindy Liquori’s mother, Clair R. Palmer, 77, who bought it in 1990. Police vehicles converged on the home Friday night, saying only that they were investigating an incident. On Saturday, they announced it was a murder-suicide and a day later released the names of the couple.

Upon their arrival, they found an adult male and an adult female inside the home with significant trauma. The two were pronounced dead on the scene. The State Police Major Crimes Squad was called in to assist with the investigation. On Saturday, police labeled the incident a murder-suicide, and said they had also executed a search warrant on a home in Suffield. On Sunday police identified the two victims as John Liquori, age 59, and his wife Cindy Liquori, age 55, both of Suffield.

Police investigating reported murder-suicide     WINDSOR LOCKS, Connecticut (WFSB) Authorities continue to investigate a murder-suicide on Christmas Day in Windsor Locks. Initially, authorities received a 911 call around 6 p.m. reporting a murder-suicide at a home located at 33 Dale Street. Arriving officers located an adult male and an adult female inside the residence suffering from significant trauma, which, as they described it, was not compatible with life and were pronounced deceased at the scene a short time later by medics. The two parties have been identified as 59-year-old John Liquori and 55-year-old Cindy Liquori, both of Suffield. Police continue to investigate and there is no threat to the public.
