The Government of Saitama Prefecture introduces four prized strawberry varietals.
Indulge in luxury Japanese strawberries and other strawberry products from the Saitama Prefecture in Singapore for the first time, boasting four of the most renowned, super high-grade strawberry varieties – Yayoi-hime, Beni-hoppe, Tochi-otome and Amarin.
Amarin varietal
The strawberries are cultivated in Yoshimi-Town’s rich and fertile soil in greenhouses which provide an abundance of sunshine all day long, all year round. Humidity and temperature are also meticulously controlled, so the harvested strawberries are fully ripe, delightfully sweet and gorgeously red with a high nutritional value. The strawberries are typically purchased directly from the farms, or from Tokyo’s specialty stores and supermarkets, and are rarely exported internationally. The Amarin, in particular, is grown only by a few farmers and is v
