This cottage industry began in an empty bay at a mechanic’s garage.
Its rotating inventory now includes previously-owned, high-fashion apparel, furniture from vacation homes on the lake, hiking boots created by the designer Prada, pocketbooks by Coach, and one-of-kind treasures such as the wooden box-shaped musical instrument that was resold on eBay, raising $450 to buy food.

Mary Ann (Tatarko) Adomnik, 64, of Altoona, formerly of Twin Rocks, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Bruce Losiewicz; father, George Tatarko Sr.; and brothers, George “Taddy” Tatarko III; and Dr. Michael Tatarko Sr.
Surviving is her loving and devoted husband of six years, Rick Adomnik; children: Christopher (Colleen) Losiewicz, David Losiewicz and Amanda (Rory) Szwed; grandchildren: Olivia, Kevin and Aubrey; stepchildren: Jennifer (John) Barefoot and son, Dylan, and Richard (Christine) Adomnik. Mary Ann is also survived by her mother, Irene Tatarko; siblings: Therese (Bill) Stawarz, Timothy (Nadine) Tatarko and Marina (Chris) Zindash; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Douglas âDougâ P. Burtell, 96, of Bowman, ND, passed away on April 3, 2021 at the Southwest Healthcare Long Term Center in Bowman.
Mass of Christian Burial for Doug was on April 8, 2021 at 9 a.m. at the St. Charles Catholic Church in Bowman. Fr. Paul Eberle celebrated the Mass with burial following the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND, at 3 p.m. There was a Rosary and Vigil Service for Doug on April 7, 2021 at the St. Charles Catholic Church it began at 7 p.m. Visitation for Doug was on April 7, 2021 at 12 p.m.
