GUWAHATI: A six-day induction training programme for 23 newly recruited Assistant Engineers under Public Health Engineering Department (PHED) is being organized at the Key Resource Centre (KRC), Jal Jeevan Mission PHED Assam in Guwahati from the February 19 to 24.
The training programme aims at building new work culture which is based on transparency, performance and productivity and also providing a forum to exchange and stimulate new ideas, stated a release. GUWAHATI: The State government has allocated one-time assistance of Rs 10,50,000 to 29 scribes under the Journalists Medical Welfare Scheme. In this regard, a meeting was held at JMWS Committee chairman and Information and Public Relations Department commissioner secretary Pritam Saikia s office. With approval from other members and after observation and recommendation of senior
doctors, the amount was allocated to the journalists. During the meeting, Committee s member secretary and Director of Information and Public Relations Anupam Choudhury deliberated on the scheme.
