SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Ruth House celebrates another class of residents as they continue on their journey towards sobriety.
The Ruth House is a recovery center for women with addiction, and future graduate, Sara Frazier, believes that the Ruth House turned her life around.
“Areas where I thought I was broken, they’ve helped me fix and I’ve realized it’s not as bad as it was and I can have a future, regardless of my past,” said Ruth House resident Sara Frazier
Frazier is scheduled to graduate in August.
Ruth House Director Peggy Carmichael says that several beds are available and sponsorship is also available for women that cannot afford it.
Pismo Preserve now open daily and hundreds are hiking new trails
PISMO BEACH, Calif. - It s a hike that takes your breath away before you break a sweat. There are 11 miles of trails in the Pismo Preserve, but you only need to go a few hundred yards to see what makes it unique. Panoramic ocean views abound across the 880 acres of protected open space. The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County purchased the land in 2014 and opened it in January of 2020 at a cost of about 17 million dollars.
