Pismo Preserve now open daily and hundreds are hiking new trails
PISMO BEACH, Calif. - It s a hike that takes your breath away before you break a sweat. There are 11 miles of trails in the Pismo Preserve, but you only need to go a few hundred yards to see what makes it unique. Panoramic ocean views abound across the 880 acres of protected open space. The Land Conservancy of San Luis Obispo County purchased the land in 2014 and opened it in January of 2020 at a cost of about 17 million dollars.
