Nasa tests 3D-printed F-1 engine component in Alabama, US

Nasa has completed a series of tests on a 3D-printed part of the F-1 engine at its Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, US.
The rocket engine had been developed to propel the Saturn V rockets on missions to the moon.
In 2013, engineers tested a vintage F-1 gas generator on the same stand. The generator supplies power to fuel a pump that delivers propellant to the engine, and generates around 30,000lb thrust.
In the latest test, the team evaluated the capabilities of a gas generator produced using additive manufacturing techniques.

Penfolds’ Shiraz wines include the 2017 Bin 28 Kalimna Shiraz, the 2018 Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz, the 2017 Bin 150 Marananga Shiraz, the 2017 RWT Bin 798 Barossa Valley Shiraz and the 2015 Grange.
More than 100 wine lovers attended the Penfolds ‘All About Shiraz’ wine appreciation sessions held at Changi Airport over the weekend of March 13 and 14.
The six sessions were fully registered, and guests included the airportâs Changi Rewards loyalty programme members.

Cape Town - Romance, identity, and being true to yourself are at the forefront of South Africaâs first gay romantic comedy film. No Hiding Here , which centres on a male couple coming to grips with the world after secrets are revealed, was released on Thursday.
For writer and director Gabe Gabriel, the film presented an opportunity to depict and normalise the experiences of queer people. âIt was imperative to me to strike a balance here though,â he explained. âIâm not a fan of content that ignores or down-plays queerness but I knew I wanted to write a story that features multiple queer characters at different stages of self-discovery for a myriad of reasons.â
