Lorraine is a long-term parenting columnist, having written for the likes of The Times and The Daily Mail. Alongside a wealth of personal anecdotes, her debut book offers useful, easy-to-follow guidance from experts. When discussing having teenage daughters, Lorraine told Sam Pinkham and Gaby Roslin, who are covering for Chris this week, “I think it’s a bit of a shock isn’t it? One minute you’re putting them to bed in their little unicorn nighties, they love you to death and you’re the most important person in the world, and then the next minute they can t bear the sound of your breathing in the kitchen in the morning, and it’s a surprise!”
